Well I can tell you about a special lady that did wait and finally has realized her dream come true with the Lord’s help.
You must visit Manteca’s newest gift shop/boutique @ 121 N. Maple Ave. and meet Linda Madrigal (owner), it is the cutest boutique that has many home décor items to select from. Linda has a special talent of collecting unique vintage, rustic, farm style, antique, etc. and one of kind pretty pieces that mix in with your up to date modern décor perfectly. I recently had the opportunity to sit with this pretty lady and ask her a few questions that may inspire those of us that have the same dream.
L&HRe: Linda, what do you love about your new business venture?
Linda: I love to inspire, design and decorate. When I had the vision for my store I thought primarily of the (Woman and her home.) I offer beautiful wall hangings that remind us of the good things in life, many pretty items that add a little bit of charm and just make you feel good about your style and surroundings.
L&HRe: What are your goals? What made you believe you could accomplish your dream?
Linda: God made me believe, God spoke to me and said 7 stores are in my future and each one with a purpose to live up to:
- To spread the word and inspire for beauty
- Provide jobs and help the community
- To allow me to always (Give)
- To leave a legacy for my family as well
L&HRe: Do you have any favorite local shops that you Love and inspire you?
Linda: Oh yes, 1. THE GREEN PEA (Escalon) 2. REMEMBER WHEN (Oakdale) 3. MAGPIE ANTIQUES (Ripon) 4. B&B Consignment (Manteca) I love them all.
L&HRe: What would you say is your personal design style?
Linda: I love all styles but my personal favorite are Eclectic mix, Modern, and a little Chic tossed in.
